Stay home. Stay safe. Stay inspired.

As working from home and social distancing become the new normal, we’re reminded that amid the chaos, we can still do what we do best: create. And despite our cabin fever, we’ve found new ways to learn, stretch our creativity and stay inspired:

1. Explore Your Favorite Art Museums from Bed

Google Arts and Culture has compiled a list of more than 500 museums and galleries you can visit virtually. Find inspiration in the archive of artwork here. We may or may not have spent most of our time scrolling through designs from the Bauhaus collections.

2. Become an Expert in a New Subject

Sometimes exposure to new subjects allows us to come back to our projects from a new point of view. Other times we just need a break from working and learning within our industry. From computer science to humanities, we found a master list of 450 Ivy League courses anyone can take for free. And if you need to keep tiny humans entertained while you remote in, here’s a compilation of kid-friendly learning resources, including games, shows and instruction materials.

3. Get Up and Get Moving

With gyms closed and social isolation encouraged, it’s been difficult to give our minds and bodies the clarity and exercise they need to stay healthy. Thankfully, personal trainers, gyms and studios have been using their social media channels to host at-home classes. Planet Fitness, for example, started streaming daily home workouts (or work-ins) through Facebook Live and Cleveland Inner City Ballet is doing the same with free ballet instruction classes.

4. Create Alongside Mo Willems in LUNCH DOODLES

Mo Willems, writer, animator and creator of children’s books, invites us to his free creative series LUNCH DOODLES. Every weekday at 1 p.m. EST, you, alongside viewers from all over the world, can explore new ways of writing, drawing and creating. Tune into Mo’s art series on the Kennedy Center’s YouTube channel or stay notified with release times through Facebook

5. Support Our Community

Our community inspires us everyday to be better creators, partners and human beings. And working from home hasn’t changed that. Whether it’s helping out small businesses, taking safety precautions seriously or showing kindness to others, doing our part will get us through this. As pets and house plants become our new co-workers, remember this: We may be isolated, but we’re not alone. We’ve got this.
